Our experience was better than we could have imagined!

From the second we arrived we felt nothing but comfort. The piano, the coffee, the porch, the breakfast… all unreal!

The Rose Suite

Skye & Ryan stayed in the Rose Suite on the 2nd floor of the mansion, which is located between the Master Chamber Room at the top of the stairs and Carl Vrooman Suite at the end of the hall.

With windows facing East. Inside you’ll find a queen-sized bed, tufted magenta sitting couch, secretary desk (perfect for writing your own journal review), and a marble top dresser with a list of any last minute add-ons you might want to enhance your stay.

The decorative fireplace adds an element of vintage charm and reminder of a time when central heating and air wasn’t as common.

 

 

Private Bath & Luxurious Extras

The Rose Suite has a private attached full bath which includes a bathtub and shower combination. The tub is a unique clawfoot tub with a wooden outside; an uncommon find! And of course in all of our bathrooms you’ll find soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer to make your stay more convenient. You’ll also find a makeup washcloth and locally made lip balm. 

If you’d like to level up your experience, you can also add on a Bath Package, which included additional bath salts among other luxuries. It’s the perfect addition if you’re one night or several.

 

 

Gourmet Breakfast Always Included

As a true bed and breakfast, gourmet breakfast is always included with every overnight stay. And you don’t need an alarm clock, because the smell of breakfast wafting up the stairs will get you up. Commons Areas for Guests to Enjoy

On the first floor of the mansion next to the foyer, we have the music room which includes our player piano that can be controlled through an iPad, or played naturally. You’ll also find the luxurious parlor with red velvet covered furniture and a beautiful bay window. The idea spot to talk, sip a glass of wine, or play a game like Ryan and Skye suggested.
