The Carriage House
This two-story structure, newly renovated under the current owners of the Vrooman Mansion Bed and Breakfast, combines the warmth of a cozy cottage getaway with modern amenities and spa-quality bathroom fixtures.
Both suites are located on the 2nd floor, each with their own private baths and walk-in showers. Select one of our suites, or reserve both to use the entire Carriage House as a private retreat.
The first floor of the Carriage House provides intimate gathering spaces, with heated floors and a stone-set wood burning fireplace. Want to enjoy the outdoors? Just beyond the screened-in porch is an outdoor fireplace, perfect for couples and friends to heat up under the stars with wine or s’mores while surrounded by the mature oak and maple trees.
The Charlevoix Suite
Surround yourself with luxury in the Carriage House’s extra large Charlevoix Suite. Located on the 2nd floor, Charlevoix features a beautiful wood-carved king-size bed. This large suite also includes a tufted leather couch, huge antique armoire, marble top dresser, and a private attached bathroom with a high ceiling. With a luxury spa shower and copper soaking tub, this suite is the perfect setting for your romantic getaway to Bloomington, Illinois.
Gourmet Included Breakfast
The staff of Vrooman Mansion take great pride in preparing and serving the finest and freshest breakfast items daily included with your overnight stay. Our full breakfast is generally served at chosen times between 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. during the week and on weekends at the original Scott/Vrooman family dining room table.
Breakfast service begins with a glass of juice accompanied by a piping hot beverage. Guests can choose from our specially blended coffee, one of our flavored hot cocoas, or one of our fine English teas.
Enjoy a fresh seasonal fruit dish, and then we’ll present you with the hot entrée of the day.
