November 17

My boyfriend Travis and I selected the Vrooman Mansion as our first bed and breakfast experience. We cherished EVERY detail of this exquisite establishment; from the decor to the fine dining each morning. We really felt like we were treated as royalty!

Everything was very calm and relaxing- from the fuzzy robes to a warm bath in the clawfoot tub to the soft piano tunes playing in the background. We are telling all of our friends + family about this magical place and hope to some day make our return.

Thank you!

The Master’s Chamber Room

Jessica and Travis stayed in the Master’s Chamber Room which is located at the top of the foyer stairs on the second floor of Vrooman Mansion. It is our most spacious room and a popular choice for Bridal Parties to get ready! The room is adorned with a queen-sized bed, large mirrored armoire, antique dresser, and white tufted couch. The ample east facing windows bring in abundant natural light, and if you’re looking for more places to relax, the upper library is right outside your door.

Private Bathroom

Across the hallway is a private bathroom for Master’s Chamber Room guests only. Inside you’ll find a clawfoot tub and shower combo, an antique pull chain toilet, and all of the toiletries you’ll need during your stay. In all of our bathrooms we provide body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer to make your stay more convenient. You’ll also find a makeup washcloth and locally made lip balm.

And for those who want the most luxurious bath experience, consider adding on our Bath Package. We have partnered with a local organic vendor, Wright Family Products, who hand makes each bath package specifically for our Vrooman guests.

Details Matter

Each suite at the mansion comes with two luxurious robes for you to borrow during your stay. But the details don’t end there. At the end of the hallway on the second floor is a “coffee closet” filled with complimentary coffee, tea, soda, water, and snacks for all of our overnight guests. And if you bring your own drinks and snacks, there is a fridge on the first floor you are welcome to use. But leave the utensils, plates, and glasses at home… because you are encouraged to walk into our Butler’s Pantry off the main dining room and borrow anything you need!

Gourmet Breakfast Included

As a true bed and breakfast, our gourmet breakfast is included with your stay. Most seasons breakfast is served at the dining room table original to the home which has been used by Eleanor Roosevelt, US President Woodrow Wilson, poets, playwrights, philanthropists and guests like you. View samples of our previous seasonal breakfasts and let us know before your stay if you have any food preferences or allergies.

Soundtrack for your Trip

On the first floor of the mansion next to the foyer, we have the music room which includes our player piano that can be controlled through an iPad, or played naturally. A member of our staff is a fabulous talent, who loves to play for our guests at their request, and Jessica and Travis were lucky enough to have a listen.

If you reserve the mansion for a private event we’re happy to help you set up the player piano, or allow you to use the music room for other local talent to come and play.
