Letitia’s Room provides the perfect Bloomington accommodations for anyone who appreciates elegantly unique charm. Bearing the name of both sister and daughter to Julia Scott, Letitia’s Room is decorated with elements of century-old craftsmanship. A beautiful peacock tapestry, vintage clothes, and hats – with a collection of hatpins – complement the richly ornamented queen-size oak bed and marble top dresser. It is also adjacent to the common sitting room, which can be made private upon reservation (based on availability). This west-facing guest room offers a quiet space for relaxing and sleeping in… that is, if the enticing aromas of breakfast will allow you to!
The bathroom, which is original to the house, is just down the hall. It features a claw-foot tub/shower combination with a large sunflower showerhead, a marble sink, a pull-chain toilet, and a window for natural lighting.
*Note: the bathroom for Letitia’s Room is shared with the Master’s Chamber Room. Based on availability, this bathroom can be reserved for your exclusive use for an additional fee. Please inquire when making your reservation.
