As a business that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, some assume we’re a museum to tour, but they don’t realize we are an active and vibrant bed and breakfast, preserving our vintage historic site with modern amenities so that you can rent the mansion for your next event, or choose to stay overnight to celebrate. And because of our gourmet bed and breakfast accommodations, it means that we can turn your special event into something even more memorable as you lead up to the big day and wind down afterward!

 

If you’d like to learn more about our history before your stay, check out these resources on our website and through the McLean County Museum of History! Built in 1869 and continually restored for you to create your own history, we’d love to have you stay with us overnight and experience the mansion and carriage house for yourself.

Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding and want a vibrant location for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony or reception, we can do that and help you with all of the details including coordinating catering, set up, take down and connecting you to other amazing local wedding vendors.

In addition to weddings, here is a list of other special events we have hosted to help families, friends and businesses celebrate the most important milestone moments, and plan for future ones. For any event we can help you coordinate a formal catered dinner, an informal buffet, or cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served open-house style.
